Previously the private villa of King Sihanouk, Amansara has been refurbished and developed with the characteristics of all Amans: style, seclusion and service.

It is now the quality benchmark for hotels in Siem Reap.

Soft and subtle, the colour schemes and textures blend harmoniously in the resorts 24 luxury suites. Lush landscaped gardens, glistening blue swimming pools and beautifully coordinated shapes and hues create an atmosphere of calm.

Suites are spacious and airy, with Amans trademark design flair. Contemporary styles are complimented by muted, earthy palettes and high-tech furnishings. The open-plan suites have King size beds, a large writing desk and a comfy sofa. Split level flooring drops down to an open bathtub which looks out through floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors to the private courtyard and terrace. Twelve of the suites have private swimming pools. The gardens are shady and peaceful.

Fine dining is available in the restaurant or around the swimming pools. The in-house spa rivals any in the country for range and quality of treatments. There is also a library come coffee shop, gallery and delightful Roof Terrace with cushioned seating and low level tables.

Included in the price is breakfast and lunch or dinner and all drinks. Also included at no extra cost are the excursions and airport transfers, The resort organises interesting and unusual excursions to the temples and surrounding region. With its own jeeps, modified tuk-tuks and high-spec mountain bikes, there is a huge choice of activities available and they work hard to ensure guests are given the best advice as to when to visit the ruins at any given time of year.
