The main temple sites are located within roughly a 5km radius of the town, so Siem Reap is the ideal place to stay. It's also a fun town with a choice of restaurants so you can sample the Cambodian fayre. The Classic also takes in the sights of Phnom Penh including the Royal Palace and National Museum. You are offered the chance to visit Toul Sleng and the ‘Killing Fields.’
Also included is a trip to the Cambodian south coast, less visited by tourists than the capital and temples, with a visit to the interesting colonial resort of Kep and Cambodia’s main beach resort Sihanoukville.
