The Victoria Sapa Resort is the only luxury resort in Northern Vietnam. Perched majestically above the picturesque town of Sapa, and set amidst mountainous highlands and rolling valleys, the sumptuous accommodation and facilities add a special edge to a visit to this spectacular part of the country.

With 77 elegantly designed and sumptuously fitted guest rooms, the Victoria Sapa is small enough to feel intimate yet large enough to be grand. Rooms are split into three categories â Superior, Deluxe and Suite. All feature heaters for the cold months, private balconies and creature comforts.

The hotel has great facilities to compliment the accommodation. A huge indoor swimming pool, massage centre and tennis court provide plenty of activity options. The Spa offers treatments and therapies in peaceful surroundings. The hotel organises varied excursions in the local area including day walks, serious treks and visits to some of the lively regional markets of neighbouring towns.

The hotel has excellent views across Sapa town and the surrounding countryside. The town has many interesting markets and sights to explore on foot and a leisurely stroll is a rewarding experience. The region is most famous for its picture postcard scenery of terraced paddy fields and colourful tribal cultures.

Sapa is reached by overnight sleeper train from Hanoi. The Victoria Hotel has its own carriages on the train, only available to guests, which have set new standards for the line. You can be assured of the most comfortable and enjoyable facilities for the 10 hour journey.

Deluxe - Deluxe hotels would have a superb level of service, very comfortable and usually spacious bedrooms, excellent food, great design and character. For us, when we visited, these places all had the 'wow factor'. A deluxe hotel should satisfy the criteria of the most discerning clients.
