The Pilgrimage Village provides visitors to Hue with a welcome alternative to staying inside the city. Here, about five kilometres from town, the atmosphere is one of calm and serenity, where space and nature rule. With frequent shuttle bus services to transport guests to and from town, visitors have the best of both worlds the chance to enjoy the cultural and welcoming town of Hue while really getting away from it all.
The Pilgrimage Village has 99 rooms, villas and suites. The accommodation combines traditional elements of design and construction with the facilities and amenities of a truly modern hotel. All rooms are large and spacious and feature wireless internet, private balconies and satellite television. Honeymoon Pool Villas are the pick of the accommodation with private swimming pool and secluded private garden.
The rooms and villas are spread across lush tropical gardens and green lawns. The two restaurants offer Vietnamese, Western and Japanese food in classically designed, elaborate wooden structures. In stark contrast, the hotels two bars the Candle Bar and Slope Cafe are designed in a futuristic style with modern art and creative lighting.
The hotel has an excellent spa offering a full range of treatments and therapies as well as Tai Chi, Yoga and meditation. It also boasts two swimming pools, the larger located outdoors facilitates serious swimming and is surrounded by thatched huts and sun loungers.
The Pilgrimage Village is a fantastic hotel and represents great value for the quality and facilities provided. With Hue just a 10 minute drive away it should be considered by anyone planning to visit this charming and historical town.

Superior - This is our first really 'upmarket' category. It might be a beautiful tiny hotel with very limited facilities or a 5* resort hotel with all the trimmings; but any hotel in this category will be a well-run establishment with very comfortable rooms, a strong service ethos and excellent food.

We loved staying at the Pilgrimage Village - certainly one of our favourite hotels from the trip. The pool was magical, especially in the afternoon when is too hot to do to much!

The Pilgrimage Village hotel didn't let us down. We had a fantastic villa and the pool all to ourselves. It was so quiet and relaxing. We both had a Vietnamese massage, which was so relaxing and I would recommend to anyone visiting.

Pilgrimage Village in Hue is very nice but too far out of town. But we didn't like Hue much anyway and we did manage to walk to a very unvisited temple a half kilometre from the hotel which was empty, just us. Magic

Pilgrammage Village, Hue: wow, what a knock-out: everything was absolutely perfect: facilities, service, design, layout, decor, detailing & workmanship (I'm from a construction background) Probably the best hotel experience I've ever had. 10/10.
