La Veranda is Phu Quoc Islands only boutique resort. Located on a prime 80 metre stretch on Long Beach, the resorts 43 rooms and villas offer contemporary luxury and comfort amidst relaxed island surroundings.
The resort is spread amongst lush tropical gardens and has small spa which overlooks the gardens and sea. Rooms themselves are split into four categories; Standard, Superior, Villa and Suite. All are luxuriously appointed and have satellite television, free wireless internet and large en-suite bathrooms. The design throughout the hotel is colonial style with contemporary chic.
Dining is another speciality here. The Pepper Tree Restaurant is located on the upper floor of the colonial style house which overlooks the beach. Seating is available indoors or outdoors on the breezy terrace. Downstairs there is a laid back bar with comfortable lounge seating. The Beach Grill specialises in BBQ dishes, fresh seafood the order of the day.
The resort has an excellent large swimming pool which incorporates a small childrens area and a jacuzzi. Diving can be organised through the hotel as can a number of excursions and watersports. The beach has a lot of small restaurants and hotels and there are plenty of options for eating and drinking around the hotel. The beach itself is great and offers good swimming.
The resort is only three kilometres from the islands airport which means you can be in the sea less than one hour after leaving Ho Chi Minh City.
La Veranda is a great hotel on a great island. Stay ahead of the game and visit this island paradise before the word spreads.

Luxury - There are very few hotels in our 'luxury' category. Hotels in this category must have absolutely everything anyone could want and really be aiming for the stars. These hotels generally go well above and beyond and they would always be at the very top end of the market. These are for clients looking for that extra special place.

The Veranda in Phu Quoc is a beautiful hotel and set in a wonderful, relatively unspoilt location. We had a lovely room set in the beautiful gardens. The food there was expensive and a big too pretentious for our tastes. The fish and noodles at the beach hut next door were to die for though!
