La Residence Resort and Spa is a glamorous property within 5 minutes cyclo journey of the world heritage city of Hue and the ancient citadel. The central part of the resort was originally home to the French envoy to Annam (now central Vietnam) and has recently been carefully restored and extended to create an exceptional boutique hotel.

We recommend the deluxe river view rooms which are tasteful and spacious with beautiful views across the hotel pool and the perfume river. The interior design of the rooms and the hotel communal areas is opulent combining dark woods and Vietnamese silks with art deco touches to retain the style and charm of a bygone era.

La Residence boasts a superb swimming pool within its lush gardens beside the Perfume River. A wonderful area to relax and soak up the unique and historic atmosphere that Hue offers. It also has a tranquil spa where you can choose from a number of wonderful treatments such as a tropical papaya glow or a Vietnamese coffee and sesame awakening brush!

The central and original part of the property houses a spacious lounge bar with the same exquisite interior design as the rest of the hotel. The bar is a great place to sip cocktails and also has wireless internet access.
