The Red Dragon Indochina boat is for those that prefer to get away from the crowds. Small, stylish and comfortable, the cruise takes guests to Bai Tu Long Bay which is much quieter and more 'off the beaten track' than Halong Bay itself.
The junk is 25m long and carries a maximum of 10 passengers in 5 well furnished and very comfortable deluxe cabins. The intimate atmosphere makes this a sociable choice.
As usual there is a choice between 1 and 2 nights, with the 2nd day spent on small island with kayaking, snorkeling and swimming all possible.
A great choice for our guests. We think that while you miss the most famous sites, this is more than compensated for by the peaceful serenity of what you do see, the lack of the 'package tour' feel and the chance to learn from the people of the Bay who are determined to preserve Ha Long Bay for posterity.

Superior - This is our first really 'upmarket' category. It might be a beautiful tiny hotel with very limited facilities or a 5* resort hotel with all the trimmings; but any hotel in this category will be a well-run establishment with very comfortable rooms, a strong service ethos and excellent food.
