Info : Hanoi Elegance

The Hanoi Elegance is a group of five similar properties interspersed throughout Hanoi's old quarter. Simple and functional, the hotels offer excellent value and comfortable accommodation in unbeatable locations.

With space in this part of the city at a real premium, the properties are a straight forward combination of a reception, guest bedrooms and a restaurant. The friendly and attentive service is the one main factor that distinguishes the Elegance hotels from comparable properties.

Rooms tend to be pretty similar in design and amenities at each property, with the overall size of the room determining the price. All rooms have comfortable double or twin beds, en-suite bathrooms, satellite tv and internet. Some rooms have balconies with excellent views.

We tend to book the Elegance 2 or 4 as a personal preference but they are all worthy choices for great value options in Hanoi. Much of your time in the city will likely be spent out and about, making a clean and comfortable room in a prize location more than enough to please most people.

The hotels are a mere 5 minute walk from Hoan Kiem Lake and located in the heart of the busy and vibrant streets of the iconic old quarter of the city.

Value - This is our lead in category. There will generally be a no frills approach and while some will be characterful, some will do exactly what it says on the tin – provide a clean, comfortable and good value place to spend the night. These places are normally 3* hotels, but in areas where there is little choice or if it is a very good place, it may be what would generally be described in Asia as a 'guesthouse'.
