The Bamboo Village is one of Mui Nes best beach resorts, brilliantly combining unique accommodation and prime beach access.

The resort has 65 rooms located in either the hotel wing or the detached bungalows spread throughout the lush gardens. All the rooms and bungalows are equipped with air-conditioning, satellite television, and en-suite bathrooms. Rooms are located in a two-storey building and designed and furnished with the comfort and elegance found throughout the resort. The thatchedroof bungalows, with private balconies, are definitely the pick of the accommodation. Beachfront Bungalows open out onto the sandy shores of Mui Ne beach and are particularly comfortable and stylishly furnished. Garden View Bungalows are slightly more rustic yet have a distinct charm. These are constructed in an octagonal shape and made entirely from bamboo, combining the best of traditional beach design with modern comforts.

The two excellent swimming pools are surrounded by landscaped gardens and manicured lawns. Watersports are easily organised through the hotel. Windsurfing, kite-surfing and boogie boarding are popular choices.

The resort has a good Spa with treatments competitive prices. The restaurant serves Vietnamese and Western foods and is housed in an open-plan terrace overlooking the beach.

The resort has the feel of a property that has grown slowly with time with each step a steady evolution. The resort has a cohesion and intimacy that many large properties fail to maintain. The staff are delightful and welcoming. The beach is stunning and ideal for spending lazy days.

All in all, the Bamboo Village is one of our favourite properties in southern Vietnam and would suit travellers with a variety of tastes and requirements.

Superior - This is our first really 'upmarket' category. It might be a beautiful tiny hotel with very limited facilities or a 5* resort hotel with all the trimmings; but any hotel in this category will be a well-run establishment with very comfortable rooms, a strong service ethos and excellent food.
