This can be taken along the watery landscape of the bustling Mekong Delta, Vietnam’s 'rice bowl', and a great way to see the change as the countries merge.
The route from Northern Vietnam to Laos is a more 'off the beaten track' multi-country itinerary, taking you overland through spectacular mountain scenery and remote tribal cultures from Hanoi to Luang Prabang.
