Napasai is a fine boutique resort with prime beachfront location on the northern tip of Koh Samui. The resort offers some of the most luxurious, tasteful and private accommodation on the island.

Its 69 villas and cottages are spread over lush cashew and coconut groves and designed in traditional Thai style. There are five categories of accommodation; Beachfront and Sea Views cottages offer deluxe island accommodation with sea views. Both have large bedrooms with king size beds, private balcony and lounge area. Family Cottages are similar but have two bedrooms. Garden Spa Cottages and Private Pool Villas are built in a split-level fashion with private beachfront swimming pools and outdoor âsalaâ relaxation pavilions. All rooms have air conditioning, DVD players, satellite TV and free internet access.

The resort has two restaurants Lai Thai, which serves gourmet Thai cuisine, and the Beach Restaurant with tasty international dishes and seafood. Both specialise in Southern Thai cuisine.

The Ytsara Spa has classy treatment rooms and studios for the ultimate in pampering. Ytsara's (meaning freedom in Thai) holistic treatments use natural and organic ingredients to the highest standards. The Pala Energy Body Massage is one of spa's unique products and comes highly recommended.

In addition to Koh Samuiâs general attractions, Napasai has specialist water sport excursions and activities. Windsurfing, kayaking, snorkeling, scuba diving, canoeing and boat trips can be enjoyed without leaving the resort. It is also possible to charter a fully crewed private yacht. The resort has a great oval shaped swimming pool which runs parallel to the beach. Meals can be served around the pool at sunset and private BBQ's arranged.

Making great use of the spacious grounds and excellent beach location, Napasai is an ideal resort to relax and enjoy the fabled turquoise waters of these paradise islands.

Deluxe - Deluxe hotels would have a superb level of service, very comfortable and usually spacious bedrooms, excellent food, great design and character. For us, when we visited, these places all had the 'wow factor'. A deluxe hotel should satisfy the criteria of the most discerning clients.
