Info : Four Seasons Tented Camp

The Four Seasons luxury tented camp is the first venture of its kind by the well known hospitality group. Representing a change in direction, this bold project amazes and charms guests with its breathtaking location, indulgent accommodation and exotic activities.

Departing from the resorts secluded private pier, the camp is accessible by river boat along the small stretch of water that divides Thailand and Myanmar. Nestled into the hillside are the resorts fifteen luxury tents, spread across the ridge, each with its own spectacular view. There are no other developments around the resort and it sits majestically amidst a huge 1600 acres of private land.

Whilst at the camp, the main leisure attraction in the Elephant camp and Mahout centre. Guests are offered the unique chance to ride the elephants themselves.

Other facilities at the resort include a renowned Four Seasons spa, lap and whirl pools and a fine elevated bar.

The tents themselves are nothing short of magnificent lavish accommodation amidst the bamboo forests of Northern Thailand. Each tent is designed as an open space with a large outdoor deck. Furnishings are handcrafted and custom-made, in styles reminiscent of 19th-century adventure expeditions. Each tent features one king or two twin beds. The all-inclusive package offered by the property are designed for active adults and include; airport transfers, accommodation, all meals and drinks (including house wines and spirits), mahout training and Elephant trekking, excursions and spa treatments.

Such original and unusual luxury does not come cheap and a stay can only be booked as part of a variety of three, four and seven night packages. However, a brief glance in the guest book reveals a continuous stream of delighted clients, wowed by the Four Seasons experience.
