Arayaburi Resort is one of the few mid-range resorts on Samui to occupy a location which many up-market resorts would envy. Hidden away on the quiet Samrong Bay, the resorts 22 Superior Villas, 35 Deluxe Villas and 8 Grand Villas are spread across landscaped gardens.
Just 10 minutes drive from Samui International Airport, the resort is peaceful and quiet far away from the hedonistic beaches of the north. Rooms feature modern amenities king size beds, air-conditioning, satellite tv and well stocked mini-bar.
The main restaurant looks out to the gulf and offers good views of neighbouring Koh Pha Ngan Island. A variety of cuisine international cuisine is served alongside a wide menu of Thai delights and fresh seafood. A separate poolside bar serves cocktails and snacks.
There is a quality swimming pool close to the beach and water based activities including sea canoeing and sea kayaking is offered by the resort. The powdery, white sand beach itself is delightful and arches gently with hilly mountainous jungles at either end.
An excellent option for those seeking comfort, peace and quiet. Great value.

Superior - This is our first really 'upmarket' category. It might be a beautiful tiny hotel with very limited facilities or a 5* resort hotel with all the trimmings; but any hotel in this category will be a well-run establishment with very comfortable rooms, a strong service ethos and excellent food.
