DAYS 1, 2 & 3

Arrive in Chiang Mai for two days leisure at the Lanna Mantra Hotel. This family friendly and well appointed hotel is an excellent location, to relax from your long journey and explore the city. While in Chiang Mai we recommend a leisurely tour of Doi Suthep, one of Thailandâs most sacred temples.

DAY 4

Chiang Mai - Lahu Outpost

You will be picked up by your guide in a local truck (songtaews) from Chiang Mai and driven to Pha Mieng. Embark on a days walk through orchards, forests, jungle trails and up a mountain to visit the Lahu Villages. At the dayâs end, arrive in the Lahu Village of Kup Kap. The view is spectacular and you will enjoy the attention of the gregarious and friendly villagers. Accommodation at Lahu Outpost.

DAY 5

Lahu Village Lisu Lodge

After breakfast a downhill walk along a nature trail via Huay Sadhan waterfall.

Visit Mae Taeng Elephant Camp for an hourâs elephant ride and experience white water rafting. Later on a local truck takes you via the Akha Village of Huay Pong on to Lisu Lodge. Dinner at the lodge with music and dance from the Lisu banjo players and village girls. Accommodation at the award winning Lisu Lodge. This responsible tourism project is fun and informative since it is run by and for the villagers, all parties benefit.

DAY 6

Lisu Lodge, Chiang Mai

The Lisu Lodge Experienceâ begins at Ton Lung temple. Here you are guided by the Lisu people to visit the herbal garden and the shamans house with an introduction to traditional medicine. In the afternoon enjoy an ox-cart ride through farmlands and orchards to the Thai village of Baan Pang Mai Daeng. Continue by Songtaew back to Chiang Mai for an overnight stay at Lanna Mantra.

DAYS 7, 8, 9 & 10

Depart Chiang Mai for a short, direct flight to Phuket. Transfer to Palm Beach Resort KhaoLak, located on one of Phang Nga's finest beaches. The resort has lush landscaped gardens and faces the clear crystal water of the Andaman Sea, a perfect place to unwind.

DAY 11

Transfer to Phang-Nga Province to explore the rivers that cut through the mangrove forest by dinghy or self paddle canoes. Spend the afternoon on a deserted beach where you can swim, relax or paddle canoes. Transfer to Khao Sok. Dinner and overnight at Elephant Hill in safari tents.

DAY 12

Wake up to the sounds of the jungle. After breakfast, visit an elephant camp to see, touch and find out about the life of Thai Elephants. Take a canoe trip down the Sok River and experience a world that has changed little over thousands of years. Drift along the jungle river past limestone mountains and cliffs covered with exotic tropical vegetation. Dinner and overnight at Elephant Hills.

DAYS 13, 14 & 15

Nothing compares to a walk in the jungle, an opportunity to explore the ecology of the rainforest and appreciate the huge variety of exotic plants and tropical trees. Lunch is served in the rainforest cooked in bamboo. In the afternoon transfer to Phuket Airport for your flight to Bangkok.

Two days exploring wonderful Bangkok. We include a fantastic Klong Boat tour which we think affords you a sneaky glimpse into what makes Bangkok tick and a stay at the funky Chatrium Suites as a last treat for you all.
