Cambodia Classic
Bespoke Holiday Itinerary / Experience Tour
Info : Cambodia Classic
This 16 day privately guided tour will give first time visitors a great insight into this wonderful country, and shows that Cambodia has more to offer than the magical wonders of Angkor.
Along with two days to explore the countless temples of Angkor with one of our fantastic guides, you will spend time amongst the French Colonial architecture of Battambang, before experiencing the fascinating history of Phnom Penh.
Your holiday will end with time to relax in the contrasting coastal towns of Kep and Sihanoukville. Kep is a great location and whilst there is no beach, it is on the coast and there are some wonderful islands to explore just off shore, as well as the mysterious Bokor mountain, the famous Kep Crab with Kampot Pepper and lots more off the beaten track experiences.
Sihanoukville is extremely lively and has excellent beaches as well as good diving and snorkelling just off shore.

DAYS 5, 6 & 7 BATTAMBANG
After lunch you will be transferred to Cambodias second city of Battambang, for two nights at the stylish La Villa hotel. From your hotel you will be able to walk into the heart of town to explore the bustling market and colonial architecture while experiencing some of the best street food in Cambodia and a sunset ride on a famous bamboo train into the surrounding paddy fields.

During a full day tour you will visit the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda, Emerald Buddha and the National Museum. Youll also have the chance to visit Toul Sleng, formerly used by the Pol Pot regime as a detention centre, and the killing fields. This is a moving example of the difficulties faced by Cambodians between 1975 & 1979. Accommodation is at the Pavilion hotel.
DAYS 9, 10, 11 & 12 KEP
A morning transfer will see you arrive in Kep, a sleepy old colonial resort, slowly returning to life after being abandoned during the civil war. During a three night stay you will be able to eat at the famous crab market, take a boat trip to Rabbit Island, wander amongst deserted villas, walk in the surrounding jungle clad hills and visit the nearby riverside town of Kampot.
