The South Coast of Bali
The main beaches of the South Coast from west to east are Canggu, Seminyak & Legian, Jimbaran, Ulawatu and just before Sanur the resort area of Nusa Dua. Kuta is a busy beach resort along this coast, we dont arrange acommodation there as its primarily a backpacker hang out, however its a great spot to watch expert surfers do their thing at sunset or to go for a wild night out!
Customers often ask us “which beach?”, the key differences are the strengh of surf, the style of accommodation, the range of nightlife and the extent to which the area is sanitised for tourists. Seminyak and Legian are surf beaches great for trendy design hotels with a range of eateries and nightspots nearby. Canggu shares the same bay as Seminyak and Legian as it stretches towards Tanah Lot Temple but is quieter and has more tradtional accommodation. Jimbaran is on a narrow strip of land with quality hotels and is well known for seafood barbeques on the white sand beach in the evening, its quieter than Seminyak in terms of nightlife and generally safe for swimming. Ulawatu on the Bukit Peninsula is a famous surfing destination, hotels usually have fantastic views as they are based on the dramatic cliffside that fringes the beach. Nusa Dua is a gated tourist enclave with a range of luxury hotels, it has great beaches which are safe for swimming and features a golf course and a range of spas.
Seminyak & Legian
The sophisticated Seminyak and Legian are a combination of modern style resorts and trendy places to eat and drink. The area has a great selection of elegant hotels which are particularly suited to young couples who like to get out and about during a beach holiday. Providing an oasis in the heart of Seminyak and a relatively peaceful beach, The Samaya - Seminyak is an ultra-modern collection of private pool villas, while The Legian is a more traditionally Balinese alternative and Pradha Villas is a great option for people on a bit more of a budget.

The picturesque Jimbaran Puri Bali and the more modern Kayumanis Jimbaran both offer great style and comfort.
