Info : Desa Seni
Desa Seni is one of Bali's most unique resorts. Run on sound principles of sustainability and cultural preservation, the resort aims to recreate a traditional indonesian village with top-quality modern amenities.
Designed around a selection of original wooden houses which have been imported from islands around Indonesia, each house has its own individual history and has been completely restored and refurbished.
The houses are split into different categories depending on their size and the number of bedrooms. All have comfortable sitting areas and terraces overlooking the paddy fields. All have a range of modern amenities including flat screen tvs, air-conditioning, sound system and unlimited drinking water.
Desi Seni has a fully-functional spa and offers daily yoga programs from a range of professional teachers and instructors. Yoga classes are free of charge to in house guests.
Furnished throughout with stunning antiques and traditional crafts, Desa Seni has a distinctive artistic streak and creative atmosphere.
Nestled in the middle of a rice field plantation in Canggu, Desa Seni is only a short stroll to the beach, 10 minutes to the bustling hub of Seminyak and 20 minutes from the airport. Desa Seni practise what they preach and have been awarded numerous accolades and certificates about their commitment to eco-friendly and responsible travel.
Rating
Superior - This is our first really 'upmarket' category. It might be a beautiful tiny hotel with very limited facilities or a 5* resort hotel with all the trimmings; but any hotel in this category will be a well-run establishment with very comfortable rooms, a strong service ethos and excellent food.
