The Beach house is a good value alternative in the heart of Kep, with a pretty pool and bar/restaurant area that overlooks the main beach. It is in a great location to explore the town and its crab markets.

Up some steps from the main road, the single motel style complex of the Beach House provides 16 clean and comfortable rooms. The rooms are light and simply decorated with hardwood furnishings; they have good sized beds, a/c, hot water, T.V and a shared balcony. The double and twin rooms are a decent size and have a decent sea view. The family rooms are suitable for 4 with 2 decent sized rooms and a bath, although they are at the back of the building and do not have a sea view.

The charming pool has a small infinity pool flowing into a larger, although still quite small pool. There is a small thatched bar/restaurant and outdoor sitting area which provides wireless internet access.

Value - This is our lead in category. There will generally be a no frills approach and while some will be characterful, some will do exactly what it says on the tin – provide a clean, comfortable and good value place to spend the night. These places are normally 3* hotels, but in areas where there is little choice or if it is a very good place, it may be what would generally be described in Asia as a 'guesthouse'.
