Bespoke Holiday Itinerary / Experience Tour

This 17 day privately guided holiday is designed for first time visitors to Vietnam & Cambodia looking for a mix of sightseeing and beach time.

The tour begins in Siem Reap where you have the chance to explore the glorious temples of Angkor before heading to Vietnam and bustling Ho Chi Minh City.

In central Vietnam the pace relaxes for 4 days whilst you stay at the Victoria Hoi An Resort & Spa, right on the beach. Hoi An itself is a picturesque ancient town with streets lined with colourful lanterns, it has some fantastic restaurants and a laid back feel and is a great place to explore once the sun starts to go down.

At the end of the holiday there is time to enjoy Hanoi and the itinerary also incorporates visits to the famous Mekong Delta in the south and spectacular Halong Bay in the north.

For those with a few extra days to spare we would suggest looking at our Vietnam and Cambodia Classic which also takes in Phnom Penh in Cambodia and Hue in central Vietnam. The trip can also be extended to take in a 3 day train adventure up into the mountains to Sapa.

DAY 1

Depart UK and fly to Siem Reap.

DAYS 2, 3, 4 & 5

Arrive in Siem Reap where you have three days, the first of these will be a full day spent with your guide exploring the amazing temples of Angkor with lunch included. You will also receive a 3 day temple pass so that you can explore the fascinating area at your own pace over the remaining days.

DAYS 5, 6, 7 & 8

A 45 minute flight from Siem Reap to Ho Chi Minh City and on to The May Hotel which is in an excellent location to explore Saigon. Whilst you are in €œSaigon either a guided morning city tour or a half day trip to the Cu Chi tunnels is included. On the third day a full day trip to the Mekong Delta is included.

DAYS 8, 9, 10, 11 & 12

Transfer to the airport for a short flight up to Danang and then a 20 minute drive to the fabulous town of Hoi An. Accommodation is at the Victoria Hoi An, in a prime location on the beach and only a stones throw away from Hoi An itself. Your time here is free to relax and enjoy the beach and the culture. Hoi An is famous for its numerous tailors who will copy or design any clothes you wish, the prices are fantastic and the range of silks and other materials is endless.

DAYS 12, 13, 14 & 15

Well rested after your stay in Hoi An you fly on to Hanoi and stay at the Maison D'Hanoi, in the heart of the old city. You are a short walk away from Hoam Kiem Lake, a beautiful place to watch the sunset. There are several museums, shops and excellent eateries along Hanois tree lined boulevards and its a great city to spend a few days, we include a half day tour by cyclo to ensure you catch the main highlights. During your time in Hanoi we also include a day trip to spectacular Halong bay with lunch included, this can be upgraded to an overnight trip (ask us for details)

DAY 15

The morning is free to do some last minute sightseeing or shopping and then later today your guide and driver will take you to the airport to catch you overnight flight back to the UK
