The Inle Princess Resort incorporates elements of traditional Shan and Intha design to create a tranquil and peaceful retreat in the heart of the magnificent Inle Lake.

The resort’s 46 rooms are dotted around the central lotus pond and overlook the mountains, paddy fields, ponds and lakes. Rooms vary in size and shape but all offer high ceilings, private balconies and lavish bathrooms.

All rooms have ornate open fireplaces for the cooler evenings. Beautifully furnished with plentiful indoor and outdoor relaxation areas, the tranquillity permeates every aspect of the accommodation. Designed with artistic and creative flair throughout, the resort is largely constructed from wood, painted in some areas with murals depicting local culture and landscapes. The service is laid back yet attentive, with the relaxation of the guests always at the aim. There are a number of different room types offering varying shapes, sizes and locations. The hotel’s one Princess Chalet is a real work of art, worthy of any honeymoon or special occasion.

The Inle Princess Resort has a grand bar and restaurant overlooking the main lake. Beautifully furnished with rattan and teak wood furniture, both areas provide seductive communal areas to wine & dine and relax & unwind. Breakfast is serves on the large lakeside terrace, whilst dinner is a-la-carte and served in the main dining room. Peppered with warmly coloured hanging lanterns, the airy dining room is a romantic and  relaxed space to enjoy the hotel’s excellent food. The hotel spa offers a range of treatments which can enjoyed in your own room if desired.

An in-house activity centre offers a variety excursions and walks plus pottery, weaving and wood carving demonstrations and workshops. Wifi internet is available in the reception area.

The Inle Princess Resort was one of the area’s first luxury properties and remains one of the best – it’s blend of style, service and location making it very special place to enjoy the many attractions of Inle. Access is by a 25 minute private boat ride from the main Inle Lake pier.

Superior - This is our first really 'upmarket' category. It might be a beautiful tiny hotel with very limited facilities or a 5* resort hotel with all the trimmings; but any hotel in this category will be a well-run establishment with very comfortable rooms, a strong service ethos and excellent food.
